Hi guys! Sorry about acquiring last week from blogging. I used to be in Boston on a little vacation with a few of my close friends from college. We’d an unbelievable period baking cookies (fresh recipe just around the corner), exploring the North End, running around Southie, and laughing until we couldn’t any longer. Life is great! I’ll have a recap quickly of all of my Boston outings plus some favorite items of mine, too! But of course, Monday came and holiday ended. And now it’s October; I cannot believe it! I am busy working outside trying to soak everything up before Minnesota climate comes swinging in with negative temperatures. Obviously since it has been so lovely, I am slacking in the baking department. Sorry about this! I’m back today… with tasty small bars. You’re thrilled, right?

You ought to be! I’m a HUGE fan of most things pumpkin. Actually if I acquired to choose my last food on earth, it might be a simple cut of warm pumpkin pie with whipped cream. That’s my heaven. Seriously pumpkin may be the JAM to my peanut butter. What I must say i mean is certainly that it completes me.

These bars are simply as wonderful as pie within their very own way. They make mornings just a little brighter. Somehow they feel romantic and will definitely have your house smelling like fall.

Oh and did We mention that they are healthy? Yes, you can totally consume them for breakfast or like a treat – there’s only 128 calories per club and healthy ingredients, too!

To ensure this formula was gluten free, I used gluten-free oats to make oat flour (listed in the guidelines). Producing oat flour one of the easiest things you can do, and especially wonderful if you are gluten free of charge! Oats hold a ton of moisture and offer healthful carbs – therefore eat up!

Second, I used Enjoy Life chocolate chips to keep the recipe vegan-friendly. However in the event that you aren’t vegan, regular mini potato chips will work just fine!

I hope you love this recipe. I’ve been working hard to generate better for you treats and snacks! So of program… more just around the corner!

Delicious!! I made these tonight and anticipate making another batch soon.

I’m wanting to know how adding some peanut butter would work? A little bit of extra protein and flavour but might be too much?

Hi Monique!! I believe I’m doing something amiss with these pubs. I produced them the first time even though they looked amazing, that they had a really solid after-taste (kind of metallicy/soapy). I analyzed the recipe and noticed I hadn’t utilized aluminum-free baking natural powder. So I made them again, this time using the correct baking powder. Once again they appeared amazing but got the SAME aftertaste. I really want to love these….have you got any idea on what I’m carrying out wrong? Personally i think like I’m a bit crazy, but I swear I’m following a recipe exactly, aside from spraying my skillet with coconut essential oil spray (I’ve considered that and don’t think this task would yield the result I’m getting).

you might have any suggestions ?

I love your site!!

These bars are SO good! I am not vegan therefore i used 2 eggs instead of the applesauce, just because I had formed no applesauce on hand. I also used nearer to 2/3 cup chocolate chips. These are not really super lovely, but so moist! I want to talk about them so I don’t eat all of them myself but at the same time don’t want to share in any way!! These will be a staple for me personally when I want a sweet deal with.

Does anyone happen to know the vitamins and minerals for the initial recipe?
